My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma on his face June 2016. He was sent to MD Anderson by his doc here cuz they the "best".

They put him on clinical trial of Nivo, which did nothing. By time they did surgery the tumor had grown and was in lymph nodes and spread to his lungs. Dec. 2016 they biopsy his lung and say it's clear it is cancer.

Mo to later another biopsy and it is cancer! Put him on another trial of Nivo and oral chemo. The combo was giving him a rash but after 6 weeks they scanned and it was working! So they pull him off chemo and just stay on Nivo.

After 6 weeks they put him back on chemo/ Nivo. Rescaned in July the tumor had grown and was now in his kidney. So they put him on ippy/Nivo combo while he still had chemo in his system. He ended up with colitis so they put him on steroids.

Started at 80mg a day then 120 then back to 80. The roids weren't getting rid of the xolotis.his liver levels were high but they said they were good. Ff to Oct when we were there for a GI appt he was feeling good, had been telling them he feels bloated all the time...more roids! Got to hospital on 19th they admitted him, gave him 160mg of roids which made him diabetic.

He was hooked up to fluids but they weren't pushing them. So being shot up with roids, antibiotics, and hemprin and whatever else but no fluids. Every day he got worse but they wanted to see if over the weekend the 180mg roids would fix the swelling from colitis. By this time he has been on high dose for 2 months!

Was admitted in Oct 19th and he died on the 24 because his liver was shutting down from the roids.

Thinking of filing a suit against them. He didn't have to die and didn't die from the cancer!
